Stroller Advice, Please!

I'm trying to figure out what would be best for numero dos in terms of strollers.  With E, we bought a Chicco travel system and used the infant seat, of course, but only really used the stroller when she was small.  We sold it and now have a BOB and a Maclaren Volo, and we use the Volo more often than the BOB.

When the baby's born, E will be three months away from turning three and, I'm guessing, not that interested in riding in a stroller.  I'm thinking of getting a Snap-n-Go frame for the first several months with the baby and keep the Volo for E to ride in at that time.  And maybe get a Joovy Caboose Ultralight for when the baby's older.

What would you do?

my plan is similar to yours:

we'll keep both our snap-n-go & maclaren for trips when i might only have one baby with me, or if we're somewhere on a quick trip where maddy can walk.

but she LOVES riding in the stroller, so we won't wait to get the joovy, since it can be used w/ the adapter for an infant seat.

  • the joovy caboose u/l has an infant seat adaptor. if you are going to get one anyway, just forgo the s'n'g. honestly, the joovy isn't that much bigger than the standard s'n'g when it's folded. it's a very easy stroller to manage for a double. if you have both kids, you're not going to want to push a s'n'g and a volo at the same time. the nice thing about the joovy for the 3yo set is that they can stand and ride on the back and get on/off as needed.

Thanks, ladies -- I didn't realize the Joovy has a car seat adaptor!

Just check the joovy website to make sure your car seat is compatible.  I ditto rayskit10 100%.  Also, I use it even while DS1 is at MDO.. it really isn't much bigger than a SNG.
