Is formula in a sippy cup ok?

My twins are almost 9 months old and my daughter is HATING bottles lately - drinking only about 15 ounces some days which I do not think (know) is enough. Maybe I can blame teething but who knows.

Anyway, I am very confused about the transition from the bottle and from formula to milk. I know we have some time, but is there anything wrong with putting formula in a sippy cup now? I assume I won't heat it up, but will this confuse her?

    I did. DD#1 made the switch to sippy cups only by 10.5-11 months.

    Mine didn't want a bottle either around this age.  We tried formula in a sippy but it didn't work.  We tried smaller bottles more often and that worked but on their first birthday, I just stopped giving bottles and gave them milk in a sippy and they were very happy (until we found out they couldn't have regular cows milk...)

    We dropped the bottle early with formula in sippys.
