Made it to my goal of 1 year!

In just a few hours my DS will be 1 and I will have made it to my goal of 1 year! We are still going strong and I don't have any plans of weaning. I plan on letting him self wean over the next year. I was really lucky and didn't have to many troubles with nursing. I have had to use a shield the entire time due to flat nips. Good luck to everyone that is just starting out or having troubles. It is so worth it to do your best and stick with it!

Wow -- I can't believe you made it a year with a shield! I was so annoyed with it when I had to use one in the beginning, if I'd had to continue with it I am sure I wouldn't be BFing today.

Way to go, mama!
