How long does your 2-4 week old nurse for?

During his first week, DS nursed for like an hour. Now at 2.5 weeks, he nurses for 20-30 minutes. My doctor said that's a normal amount of time, but it still feels like so little compared to week 1, not that I'm complaining since an hour of nursing felt like forever. How long does your 2-4 week old nurse for on average?

That sounds right. They told us when we had to go back to the hospital a couple weeks ago due to my baby not gaining enough weight that he should be feeding about 20-30 mins total, any longer and he'd be burning too many calories that he needs.
