  I made a banana cake that looked like a monkey head.  I found the recipe on the Martha Stewart website.  I also served stuff for banana splits.

  My twins 2nd bday was a monkey theme! I made monkey cupcakes with nilla wafers for ears- do a google image search. Also made cute monkey favor bags out of paper lunch sacks and construction paper. Favors were Cds "Music to Monkey Around To", a fresh banana, a little stuffed monkey and monkey stickers. I decorated with stuffed monkeys and our color scheme was brown, yellow and white. There is a ton of Mod Monkey stuff on etsy.com It's a great theme you should totally do it!

  Last year we did a zoo animal theme, but we made some monkey cupcakes. Sorry it's not a great pic, but it's a frosted cupcake with fondant pieces laid on it.

  We are doing a Curious George theme for DD's 2nd bday. Turns out there are tons of CG party items on line. My mom found a bunch of CG stuff in the dollar section of target to put in favor bags (bubbles, puzzles, etc).
