Any place to find a field of wildflowers?

I'm just looking for a nice field of wildflowers where I could take some pictures...The only great place I've found is privately owned. So it would have to be some place that I could take a few people to without getting into trouble!

There's a field off of Boerne Stage Road just west of I-10 that's mostly bluebonnets. I think that technically it's private property, but there have been a ton of people taking pictures in it for the last few weeks.
