What a freaking day! I also posted this on D&R in case you see it on there, but I wanted to update you ladies as well.
I had my interview today. I left my school at 11:45 (after my sub was
a few minutes late) and headed to the school on what I thought would be
the fastest route. The interview was supposed to be at 1:30, and it was
supposed to take an hour and 15 minutes to get there. Well about 20
minutes into my drive I got stuck in non-moving traffic. I had 1 mile to
an exit that I knew a backroad from the exit. Apparently the highway I
was on was closed and here is why:

It took me 40 minutes just to get off the highway and to the other road... which was 1 mile from the spot I got stuck, and that was only because I drove on the shoulder for a little. So I get off the exit and then get stuck in construction traffic! I finally get off that road after about 10-15 minutes and go backroads, only to be stopped AGAIN in 1 lane construction (this was only about 5 minutes thankfully).
Luckily I was only 15 minutes late for the interview, and I thought to get off at the exit 1 mile away from where I was stopped because otherwise I wouldn't have made it. I have NO IDEA how I think the interview went. I think it went OK, but I don't feel it was perfect. Ugh I am just so nervous. It was with 3 principals (was going to be 4, but the one got stuck in court). I knew the one principal because it was at a school that I was an assistant in before I got my teaching cert. I just don't know how I feel it went. I always feel like I bumble, but I don't know. I'm trying to think positive! OH! And then the one principal had my portfolio and I forgot to get it back and I had to wait until the interview after me was over so I could get my portfolio back. I could use some hope! Sorry if this sounds all over. I'm just thrown off now.
Re: Update about my interview today...
I'm sure you did a great job cutie!! Being late kinda throws me off and it probably did same to you.
You are a great teacher and they will be lucky to have you there. I hope you get an offer soon. GL!
