I saw it posted on the Parenting board. I read it this afternoon and shared it with my husband. I cannot even begin to imagine the emotional anguish this poor woman has at not being allowed to see her children. I think there is a special place in hell for people like her ex-husband.

I can't even believe that.... and he has the balls to request child support?? That man needs a kick in the d!ck. For real.

It's not like she's demanding full custody... the poor woman just wants to see her children I don't believe for a second they would be 'traumatized' from seeing her the way she is... young children are so accepting of others, they don't pass judgment the way adults do.. and they could be prepared for what they would see. They're going to be way more screwed up once they're old enough to know what happened and how big of a jerk face that their dad was about everything.

Some people are just disgusting.

I suppose that he also keeps them away from any other people with disabilities, too. I mean, seeing them might be traumatic, too. He really could be teaching these children a wonderful life lesson of love and patience. And what's up with divorcing her? I think that was just a cop out, too. He's a puss. And an asshat.

I read the story and thought things like "How tragic." "Unfortunate things happen to people." "For better or worse, yes, but realistically, not everyone can handle that" - though I thought his announcement of wanting to get married again peculiar and the fact that the engagement was called off made me smell something suspicious as well. I was willing to take parts of the story with a grain of salt. And then I got to the part where he asked for child support??!?!!! WTF?!?! And not letting her see her children at all was just wrong period.

I'm sick to my stomach and in tears imagining what that woman went through for her babies only to be denied seeing them. I can't even imagine. What a horrid, evil person that man is.

How horrible! I can't imagine being trapped in a body that doesn't work and not being able to see your children. That is just horrible that he also wants child support. What an azz!!!!

Ditto this. I showed it to DH and told him that if he tried to pull that $hit, my family would cut off his balls.
