Anyone have a Jeep Compass

We just put a deposit down on one tonight.  We have to wait for our loan to get approved tomorrow because the bank was already closed tonight.  I am so excited!

If you have one, do you like it?  It seems really nice.

    I thought you had an Acadia?  I had the Patriot which is the same car as the Compass.

    I loved it.  It was great on gas mileage, drove really well, etc... it was just too small once I had the baby... the stroller literally took up the entire trunk.

    I do.  We are trading it in.  The Jeep is what I wanted when we got the Acadia, but DH didn't like it.  Now he's realized it's my car so he told me to go ahead and get what I want.

    I have a Jeep Compass and will be trading it in for an Acadia later this year.  The Jeep was DH's car, but he got a company car.  We got rid of my car because it was smaller and I got the Jeep.  I like it, it drives well, but we bought it used so it doesn't have everything I like.  We are switching to the Acadia since it is bigger and seats more people.  Enjoy your new car!

    Wait until you see the difference between the gas mileage on the 2 cars.  The Acadia gets like 13-14 mpg, the Jeep was getting 20s.

    I have one, its okay. Not my first pick but a great small suv overall. The gas mileage is okay but i went from a toyota corolla before lol. What color are you getting? I wish we had waited we have the bronze champaign color but i wanted the mauve/burgandy one but they didn't have any and we were impatient lol.

    Black  DH says I will never keep a black car clean...he is probably right. haha

    I love black cars but I'm horrible with keeping them clean lol. I've only washed my once since DH has been deployed and that was b/c it was green with pollen. Maybe if he's lucky I'll take it thru the wash again before he gets back haha.

    I was looking at getting one before I had Hannah. I thought they were really cute. My boyfriend talked me into buying a used Jeep Grand Cherokee instead. I guess it was for the better, I didn't really want car payments. I really wanted the Ralley burgendy color one. I'd have to agree w/your husband, black is VERY hard to keep clean looking.
