AW: My daughter earned her Gold Award!
AND my mom and I get to go see her receive the recognition she rightly deserves! We are flying up to DC to watch her get her award on May 16th! I'm a little nervous because I've never flown while pregnant before. I will be 1 day shy of 16 weeks when we take off, so according to all of the literature I've found that is fine. I love to fly, heck I just love to travel! I'm so excited because this is such a big thing, the highest honor you can achieve in Girl Scouts and my baby girl is getting it! I've got to plan out our weekend while we are there. We will have her for my weekend of choice that weekend so my mom wants to do stuff in DC with her. My mom has been but not like she and I have. I went in high school with a program called Close Up. She has been living up there for a year plus so she has been all around DC with school and scouts and family. I think we will go to the zoo because that is the one place neither of us has been.
