let's post our craziest baby/preg related dream
yup, i'm bored today...
mine was last week - i dreamt that i had my baby too early and she was only the size of my palm. a dermatologist i work with had to put her back inside and wrapped her in saran wrap first. the saran wrap was to replicate the placenta, of course.
what's your craziest baby or pregnancy related dream?

Whoa- that is crazy!
The only one I can think of was that my baby was 12 lbs. I had him in my bathroom and it didn't hurt at all.
I had a dream back in 1st tri (all my dreams were really wierd back then!!) that my mother killed someone and my dad helped her cover it up. But then, my dad felt so guilty he confessed it to me and asked me to help him turn him and my mother in. Still gives me the shivers to think about.
Oh dear, I just realized it was to be pregnancy or baby related. Hmm.. sorry!
I had a similar dream but my baby was a dog. I also breastfed it.
That was probably the weirdest, but I keep having a reoccuring where I forget to feed (and change) my baby. I leave him on the closet floor in our bedroom and every once in a while I remember that I have a baby and go check on him to feed/change him. That dreams freaks me out a little.
I woke myself up crying/screaming the other night bc I drempt DH got in a motorcycle accident andhe was dying. But in the dream H kept switching between him and Heath Ledger, so I would cry, then stop, then cry some more.
last night I dreamt that I was in labor and was on the toilet and before I knew what was happening I had the baby right there. I picked the baby up, which was very difficult, and realized it was a boy and not a girl. The baby looked kinda weird and had teeth. Baby bit me! And all I could think was that there was no way I could BF this baby as it would bite me and damage me. To make things more interesting, I then became aware that I still hadn't had my little girl-- the one I'm expecting. I knew I just had to wait for her to decide to come out too and I was relieved at thinking at least she'll be normal.
Long and strange. I think the toilet may be because my MW is all about laboring on the toilet or a birthing chair?
LOL. These dreams are hilarious.
The weirdest one I've had, is DH and I were on the run with DS because FIL had an underground crack warehouse. (FIL is a pastor, so this was funny to me). Anyway, DH and I were getting blamed. We were running through what seemed like Antartica and DS was hungry. I tried to breast feed him, but my milk was froze. Then I woke up.
I had one the other night where I went into labor. DH and I are planning a natural labor and delivery, but my OB was giving me a hard time in my dream. The hospital staff wouldn't let me get out of bed, so DH and I snuck out the window and went to a different hospital where I delivered in a bathroom stall because the had no beds for patients. I am hoping that this isn't even close to how my actual l/d goes...

I dreamed the other night that my skin started peeling around my belly button and I started to pick at it. I grabbed one piece of skin and it ended up pulling back my whole top layer of my stomach revealing everything in side. There was a thin, clear layer of tissue and so you only see inside. My dr. said there wasn't anything they could with it until the baby came so I went the rest of my pregnancy worried about the piece of flapping skin on my stomach.
I must have been really tired that night.
I had a dream that I was married to and pregnant by Brett Favre who had quit football and was working at Sport Authority at the mall.
Another dream was I really wanted to see what the baby looked like. So I reached in between my legs and pulled on a big tampon string and the baby came out. My hub and I oohed and awwed over her before stuffing her back in to finish cooking.
I dreamt that I had the baby and then couldn't remember what I named him. My mom and all my friends kept telling me what a bad mother I was because I couldn't remember. When my mom told me what the name was I hated it and couldn't believe anyone would let me name my baby that.
Also, back when I was still waiting to feel the baby move I had a dream that I was rubbing my belly so hard trying to feel something that an arm came through the skin (unattached from a body) and I couldn't figure out how to get it back in my belly.
I've also had several dreams about having the baby and being unprepared (forgetting to feed him, not knowing how to change the diaper, etc.)
I dreamt that I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, but as time passed, she turned into a cat. A gray cat with black stripes.
Sadly, that's not the weird part. My alarm went off mid-dream and I was so out of it when I woke up, I was thinking to myself "I wonder what the odds of that happening are?" and "I need to write that down so I can make sure to ask at my next appt." Yeah. I thought it would happen. Don't worry, as I showered and woke up more I finally realized "Wait...that can't really happen!"
NO way!!! I just posted this EXACT same dream above before reading all of the posts. I wonder if this dream means something!!!
I had a dream that my baby boy came out the size of a toddler and talking! He proceeded to tell me that he did not like any of the names I had picked out for him and that he would name himself. After much thought he named himself Michael!!!! (that is not a name I have ever considered)
That dream was so bizarre
