Recipes for lunch with Gramma

My awesome, 90 yr old gramma is coming over for lunch this weekend with my mom, aunt & uncle. I cannot think of what to have for lunch. Seems like anything too complicated, flavorful or requiring a lot of chewing is out of the question.any ideas - besides busting out a few jars of baby food? ;)

  • the first thing that came to mind was an orzo salad!?

or pasta? Apparently I'm in a zucchini mood at 8 am.

  • ham and cheese frittata, with some roasted potatoes/vegetables on the side?

  • Maybe a quiche and a green salad?

  • Another vote for quiche.  And a green salad, some fruit and maybe scones or muffins.
  • You could do a high-tea kind of theme with lots of small sandwiches. Cucumber and cream cheese, egg salad, chicken salad, tuna salad, etc.

Throw in a green or fruit salad and some muffins, scones, etc. And maybe something pretty like a (store-bought) fruit tart for dessert.

  • Quiche would be good, but make sure the ham is in pieces that don't require a lot of chewing.  Soft fruit -- soft berries or melon would be good too.

I was going to say Quiche also but I love this tea theme idea, love it!

  • GREAT ideas ladies!! THANK YOU!
