Found a cute arts and crafts project for DD....

I googled arts and crafts for babies and one popped up - ice cube painting. Get a big, thick piece of paper or poster board, sprinkle different colors of Kool Aid mix or Jello on the paper and then give baby an ice cube to hold and drag and swirl around on paper. The water mixes with powder and makes a painting!

I think I will have DD do these and maybe frame a couple for my mom and MIL for Mother's Day.

My sister has a recipe for homemade Play Doh she uses, too. She is a teacher at a pre-school in the 2-3 y/o room.
