Spotting----scared....t&p please....

Hey girls. Dh and I had sex today. (I wasn't on pelvic rest, but sort of put myself on it). It's the first time since I've been pregnant. It wasn't rough, but I'm hoping that's what has caused me to start spotting.

After sex today I wiped and had some major discharge with a drop of red blood. The red spot was no bigger than the size of a pea. I was worried, but decided to remain calm unless I spotted more. Well, I just went to the restroom and had lots of pinkish-brown discharge.

I also walked like 4 miles 2 days ago (partially pushing dd in a stroller up hill) and now I'm regretting it. I'm afraid I've over done it and now something is wrong.

My ob's office isn't in tomorrow, so I'll have to wait until Monday to see her. Pray it goes away before then and that LO is still growing in there. I'm scared to death right now. If I spot again tomorrow, I'm heading to the ER.

    I'm sure everything is ok, but I totally understand how scared you are.

    I bet it is just from the sex, I am sorry I know spotting of any kind is scary.

    I know easier said than done, but try to relax. It's most likely totally normal spotting. T & P!

    Some pregnant women have super sensitive cervixes (cervices?) that bleed if you look at them funny.  I totally understand your fear, though.  Hope the spotting stops soon.

    I'm also sure everything is okay. It could be the combination of all those things you said... walking and sex... especially the sex, it could have just irritated your cervix a little. T&P for you anyways! Keep us updated!

    I'm so sorry - that's scary.  But, I don't think that either sex or walking, even uphill pushing a stroller, can cause a m/c.  Even so, I know how scary it is and to have to wait till Monday for reassurance would just about be too much for me.  I hope you see no more color down there.  My thoughts are with you and your lo...

    Sending you thoughts and prayers.  I know it is scary.  I had sex related spotting early on and cut DH off until I was a little more comfortable.  Hang in there!
