2 cm dilated and 50% effaced

so frustrating b/c it could mean a variety of things. Just got back from the dr and she said I could go this weekend or to my due date. She thinks I'll go early...If only they really knew when!

How are you ladies maintaining your sanity..the due date seems so far away!!!! I won't even ask for a prediction b/c I know everybody is different. Just a VENT! Thanks for listening.

    it would be SO nice to know when he's coming exactly! i just keep cleaning and re-organizing everything to try to pass the time.  everyone keeps telling me "he'll be here before you know it" but it seems like it'll never come.  i'm right there with ya! :)

    I was the exact same as you at 37 weeks 0 days.  My appt yesterday revealed I am the same!  I am hoping she comes next week but it could very easily be past my due date too!  GL!

    You can be dilated even before 37 weeks and stay like that till 41 weeks! You can even not be dilated at ALL, then go into full labor that night. It really doesn't mean anything, It all depends when your baby is ready!

    I'm in the same boat. I am already 4cm and 80% and dr said anytime prob by the begining of next week. It's driving me crazy. Want to  get this over with already! Kind of wish I didn't know anything.

    Yay! I was at that exact dilation and effacement at my 39wk apt (my first internal so who knows if that progress was there earlier) and had my baby the very next afternoon!! I was so shocked as I completely assumed I had like 3wks left lol.
