Babies: 9 - 12 Months

9-10 month olds crib question

Do you still have the bumper on crib if yes when will you take it down?

Have you lowered the crib yet if no when will you?

Is the mobile still up if yes when will you remove?

Re: 9-10 month olds crib question

  • Bumber has always been in there (gasp) : )

We lowered it on Monday when she learned to pull up in there : (

    We never had a mobile... I knew I forgot something! ; )

  • Do you still have the bumper on crib if yes when will you take it down? We only put the bumper on like, 2 months ago because I was uber-crazy paranoid about SIDS. But then DD started squishing herself up against the slats every night and waking up. They are still on there, not sure when we'll take them off, but probably before she turns 1.

Have you lowered the crib yet if no when will you? We lowered it to the middle setting when we put in the bumpers and lowered it all the way today. It is freakin' loooooooooow now. It is hard to put her in there!

Is the mobile still up if yes when will you remove? We never had a mobile.

  • Had a regular bumper until he started moving around, now I  have a breathable bumper and don't plan on removing it.  He likes to smack his head up against the side so he needs something, as minimal as it may be.

Crib is lowered to the lowest setting.

Still have the mobile.  I will remove it when he gets close to reaching it.  He loves to watch it, so I don't see any point in taking it down as long as it isn't a safety hazard yet.

  • We've never had a bumper on--probably won't use it.

The crib is lowered all the way, lowered at 9 months when she started standing up.

The mobile has been gone since she started waking up at night and turning it on herself (maybe at 6 months).

  • Do you still have the bumper on crib if yes when will you take it down? Bumper is still there, always has. Haven't thought about when to remove it. Maybe at 12 months.

Have you lowered the crib yet if no when will you? We lowered it to it's lowest setting at 6 months.

Is the mobile still up if yes when will you remove? Never used a mobile.

  • We still have a breathable bumper in her crib - it's too thin for her to use it to climb out and it's great for catching pacifiers before they're launched to the floor.  :)

We moved the mattress all the way down when she started to crawl/pull up (it happened pretty much the same day)

    Never had a mobile.

  • DS is 9 1/2 months.  I just lowered the crib to the middle setting this week. We had been gone on vacation and when we came back realized he figured out how to pull himself to standing.   I probably could have lowered it all the way to the bottom level but didn't.

We still have the bumper on.  He likes to snuggle his head into it in the corner.  If he didn't do this I would probably take it off.

     We never had a mobile.

  • Do you still have the bumper on crib if yes when will you take it down? Took it off months ago because she started trying to climb up it.

Have you lowered the crib yet if no when will you? We lowered it months ago when she started showing signs of pulling up. She is standing up in there every time I go in to get her now.

Is the mobile still up if yes when will you remove? We never had one.

  • bumper has always been there (she started sleeping in her crib at 4,5 mo)

we lowered rthe matress like a month ago she pulls up all the time

we have thi mobile and only left there the musical house like 2 months ago since she could reach the puppets while pulling up, she turns it on  in her own when she wakes up n the morning!

  • We've always used the bumper.

The crib is in the middle position -- I am going to have DH and FIL lower it to the bottom position this weekend.

Mobile is gone and has been for about a month.
