Anyone have the Boon Ladybug...

bath toy storage? If so, how did you affix it to your shower wall? I had it up for about 2 days using the adhesive strips they have on it, but it fell of. I'm trying to figure out how to mount it now. They have the option to screw it in but a) I really don't want to make it THAT permanent; and b) we have fiberglass tub enclosure so I don't even know that screwing it in would be an option. Just curious!

  • I have the Frog. We just used the adhesive tape and it has been up for about 7 months now. We have marble walls in the bath not sure if that is why it sticks better?

  • We have the frog and have no problems. Did they give extra adhesive? You have to make sure the surface is wiped down and no residue when you mount.

If you don't have more adhesive try those 3M tabs or 3M mounting tape - that should work.

  • We had the adhesive, and it stopped working last summer when our house got warm.  We went to their website and ordered this

It's definitely worth the $, especially if you already have the Ladybug.  Now it stays up perfectly and holds a lot of toys plus her shampoo bottles on top.  DH and I were just saying how much we love the Ladybug.

  • We have the frog, it's on a tile shower wall.  The adhesive that came with it sucked, it fell off in the middle of the night about 2 nights in (and scared the hell out of us).

My dad bought some stronger adhesive at Home Depot and fixed it.  Hasn't budged since.

  • We have the ladybug and the adhesive did not work for us.  I followed all of the directions completely and I was so frustrated when it immediately fell down.  I called the company and they mailed me a support mount with little suction cups rather than the adhesive support piece.  We have not had any problems with the suction cups and it holds 2 shampoo bottles, 2 rinse cups, and toys.  I would call the company and ask for the suction cup mount.  GL!

Did they send this for free?

Thanks everyone for  your responses!!! I just don't understand why they wouldn't just send the suction cup thing to begin with?? Seriously, for $2.99  you'd think they'd just make that an option!

Yes, the customer service rep was really nice and even apologized for my trouble with the product.  She told me that some of the packages come with all 3 mounting options.  I hope that you get someone nice and helpful when you call.  GL!

  • That is super cute, I need it. We have a shower organizer that I put the toys on but the clutter of it drives me nuts.

  • We have it. I read somewhere (before we put it up) to be sure and read the mounting instructions and follow them exactly. I did...and it's been up for just over a year without even budging! Emmerson pulls on it constantly too...and I am always taking the lady bug off/on when I scoop up the toys and it hasn't budged. I love it!
