I guess you hate me too then. . .

because I rode in cabs in Edinburgh and Paris with B without a car seat.  90% of the time he was in the Beco and I had the seat belt on as a lap belt under his bum.  I even have a video of us in a cab in Edinburgh with me just holding him.

I'm sorry.

    No hate from me.  I would be a wreck doing it, but I know that's what you have to do when you are in another country.  It's not like you can carry a huge car seat around.

    Some countries don't use carseats, so no hate from me.  My cousin and her DH went to Jamaica with their son, and taxi drivers refused to let them install the carseat.

    I don't hate you!

    same for me - i was just in liverpool and had to take taxis everywhere with no carseat.  i was a complete wreck

    Completely different topic here- my BFF is from Philly and her name is Mary Kate!  She's not married and doesn't have kids though.
