Help with VBAC?

Ladies, I know it's been discussed a lot lately, but can you all remind me of who the pro-VBAC practices are in Jax? I'm not thrilled with the Naval OB office, and I'd like to consider switching over. However, I also need somebody willing to take me on at almost 30 weeks already! And preferably someone who delivers near the Southside/North/Beaches areas?

Re: Help with VBAC?

  • I think Dr Van Scriver with A Place for Women is the most open to it. They deliver at St Lukes. Regardless of who you choose, I would hire a doula. You have a much better chance of getting your VBAC with a doula by your side. I would recommend mine but she is on maternity leave and not accepting new patients until June I think. If she can't help you, she could surely direct you to someone who can. Heather Palmer: 610-6725 several of us have used her and all of us love her!

  • I emailed Heather a few weeks ago to get a doula recommendation for another friend, she said she recommends Lori Lee, her email is hsmomof6@comcast.net and her phone number is 327-1325.
