Anyones little one an early riser?

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months

My little one is an early riser, up at 5am talking and playing, will not go back to bed. He goes to bed between 7:30-8.  He is not STTN.   He is not hungry, tried that and he spits out paci.  He is up then down for a nap at 6:30am.  Just want to know i am not alone.  TIA.

    Ugh, that sounds lousy. If my LO wakes up at 5, he'll go back to sleep pretty easily until 7ish, which is fine with me.

    However, my best friend's one year old is up at 5 every day and has been since he was about 6 months. Nothing she could do about it - she just has to get up super ridiculously early every day. Sad

    Yup!  We have an early riser too!  He goes to bed anywhere between 7-8pm and wakes up around 6am.  He's up for a couple hours - maybe an hour and a half and then takes a 45 minute nap.  Every morning!

    I don't mind because when I used to work, I was up way before 6am...  So, it works for us!

    My DS won't go down until 10 pm (on a good day) and is always up somewhere between 6 and 7 am... i keep trying to get him to sleep earlier at night but its not working..

    MY Lo usually gets up at 6 which is fine because I get up at 5:30 and DH gets up at 6 so I am generally ready by the time she gets up and will feed her. If I am not ready DH will feed her. She goes to bed between 9:30 and 10. This past week she has been waking up between 4 and 4:30. Generally just talks and moves around but after about 30 minutes gets mad and cries. So we just take turns getting up that early.....Whew I am tired this week.

    My monkey is an early riser,too...In bed usually between 7-7:30 and up around 6.  If he gets up any earlier than 6, he will eat and go back to sleep for a catnap...but I'm usually off to work by then, anyway.  I was up with him at 4:45-5:15 this morning and then into my 4th grade classroom.  Ugh!!
