As I mentioned in the babyproofing post below, G is getting really mobile now. She is pulling up and standing, rolling, scooting (not crawling) and really really wants to walk. If I sit her down in front of her toys, she screams. All she wants to do is stand and walk (with me holding her hands). Obviously, I can't do this all.the.time.
I thought that the exersaucer would be good since she is standing in it, but she screams in that too. Has she outgrown it already??? I know they are not supposed to be good, but I am seriously considering a walker right now.
Re: How old is too old for exersaucer?
She might be the same way in a walker. Layna never liked being in anything....exersaucer, walker, jumper, carseat....she only wanted to be on the floor.
Can you put her toys by the couch? Will she use the couch to creep around? Or get her a push toy.
How about some walker toys?
DS has a little car he loves to push around. He also loves pushing around a little shopping cart.
He has a couple of other toys that he has to stand up to play with. The Learn and Groove Musical Table is a good one. He also has this other toy that he stands up and puts the ball on the top and pushes a button and the ball spins and slides down.
How about a busy ball popper?
No. DS still isn't walking but LOVES his walker toys. Even at first he just used it to pull up on and didn't start "walking" with it until about a month ago.

The Blog
It's because they can actually delay development and also there is a high number of children injured in them yearly (falling down stairs, running into the wall really hard, etc.).
