This summer. I work for a school district on a traditional school calendar and hope to get pregnant so that I am due by at the end of next school year in order to have the summer off with the LO.

I can't even contemplate TTC until I've recovered from (and forgotten?) the pain of Abigail's first few months. She was a screaming, colicy, miserable little thing until about three and a half months. I also need to sleep again -- I haven't had an uninterrupted night's sleep since she was born. I suspect maybe by her second birthday I'll be ready, so the kids would maybe be three years apart.
If we have #3 (which is still an if, but we're 75% that we will), we would start trying summer of 2012. I don't want to be pregnant on my 30th birthday (May 2012) and we want to space the second a third a little more. I also would like it if my first was in 5K when I get pregnant.

This is me exactly....as long as we get some more $ saved!
We're planning on starting to TTC #2 when DD is 18 months, so this time next year. Spring 2011 technically! It took us 4 months to get pregnant with DD, and since I'll still be BFing until DD is 1 year it might take a while for my cycles to come back and return to normal. We'd like 2-3 years in between each so hopefully it will work out that way!
Unfortunately, probably not until DD is about 5. We will most likely have to go back to the RE.
I'm kind of upset about it but I am going back to school to be a nurse and won't be done for probably 3-4 years. I just don't think it would work out if we had a baby any sooner. I would have liked to start trying when she's 2.
We are not preventing now. But I just finished weaning DS from BFing and haven't gotten my post partum AF yet. It would be awesome if I can skip right over getting AF, but I'm not holding my breath on that happening.
We are two and done. So when I deliver this baby, my tubes are getting tied, burned, cut, anything they can do. I didn't want mine this close together, but hey, I guess it will work. My doctor, though, has other plans. He doesn't want me to get my tubes tied since I am only 23 and he thinks I will regret it. Nope, trust me, I won't!
We would like to start soon but I want to wait until DD is weaned. Which will be around 12 months so after her first birthday in August would be ideal to start. Eh we'll see,
Sam- yay, you're going to have another?! I thought you said before that Natalie was going to be an only child. What made you change your mind?
I don't think we'll start until Joshua is at least 2.5. That said, it wouldn't be the end of the world if we got pregnant after he turned 2. We hope to be in a house by then, and DH would graduate from law school the May before he turns 2 (his bday is in August).
We don't have a date or time frame. We're just going with the flow of things like we did when i got pg with C. We arent preventing but DH oot just as often as he is home and I rarely give it up these days

Thanks so much! We are ok. Keegan just had a minor surgery and now he has splints in his nose to keep it open. Its really hard and frustrating to keep in. He is such a ham that even when he is fighting putting them back in, you can't help but smile at him.
J is just cuter and cuter everyday! I just love his little smile. How are you guys doing?

I hope this doesn't sound rude, but I see so much improvement with him since you first started posting pictures! He is gorgeous! Those splints do not sound fun though... at least he is tolerating them well! I remember when you used to post about him being fussy... I'm glad he seems to have developed a happier personality!
And thank you! We're doing pretty well. DH is finishing up his 2nd year of law school, so I won't be seeing him much these next few weeks, but that's ok.

It doesn't sound rude at all. I completely agree. He's a work in progress, but I would be lying if I said I don't miss his wide smile from before. I am just ready for all the surgeries, splints, and nose stents to be done with. Unfortunately, that will be many years down the road.
I am sorry you won't be seeing DH for the next few weeks. I understand because FI works about 13 hours a day. Its rough.
We haven't really discussed an exact date yet. But in my mind I'll stop BC in March or April of 2012. I would REALLY like to be HUGE pregnant in the winter next time around. I HATED being so big and uncomfortable during the hottest weeks of summer last year. MISERABLE!
We'll probably start trying for #2 around May or June 2011. They will be about 2.5 years apart if all goes according to plan. I think we will go for a third, but not until #1 is in school, so probably another 3 years between #2 and #3, maybe more. It depends on finances and our ability to handle the first two though!
We want 3 or 4 kids total, we think we'll either do 3 in a row, or 2u2 now and then in a few years after the first two are a bit older do 2u2 again. We're taking it one pregnancy & baby at a time though.
We are thinking we will start trying for #2 December of this year. Lilly will be 14 months old in December and we struggled with IF the first time around (2 years to get pregnant) and we won't go straight into treatment so it may take a while...although I am secretly hoping that we'll get pregnant right away...I don't know why I have that delusional hopefulness though.

Ask me on a bad day and I'll tell you we are one and done. lol. I think now that I'm feeling better and have my depression under control I feel like maybe, just maybe, I can do this again. But we are waiting a few years so there is plenty of time for me to change my mind again and again lol
We just both had siblings and we would hate for Natalie to miss out on that opportunity. Our family is extremely important for us and we don't want to leave Natalie without a sibling when the time comes for us to kick the bucket. lol

We are going to start trying in the late fall for #3.
