what do you want for mother's day?

i'm feeling the need for some retail therapy so i'm using mother's day as my excuse. 

i'm thinking jewelry.  Stick out tongue

so what would you all like for mother's day?

    I would never turn down jewelry but what I really want is to sleep in and go to yoga class.

    PS -- I love that Ernie shirt. Where did you get it?

    A quiet day with my husband and daughter.

    They have been few and far between as of late, so that is what I really want.

     I really, honestly don't want anything for mother's day!  As long as I get lots of kisses and cuddles, I'll be happy... and maybe breakfast in bed Big Smile

    it was a gift from my daddy in nyc.  he got it at Barney's.  so i call it Jack's "snooty shirt" b/c it probably cost an arm and a leg.  which reminds me, i should have him wear it again before he grows out of it.

    My perfect Mother's Day would be:

     

    DH getting up w/ the kids and letting me sleep late

    Going out to breakfast with them

    DH watching kids while I go out for a pedi and maybe a movie

     

    But that will never happen. Instead I have to go to my ILs and be the one responsible for my kids while my husband watches football and sits around. I predict a huge fight.

    I want O to have a good day- I really hope he's smiley and giggly rather than grumpy. That and some nice weather would male my first mother's day perfect! Of course, I can't control either thing... We'll see, I guess!

    Bummer, Barney's is most definitely out of my price range! It is adorable, though.
