i have NOTHING to wear!!!

i dread getting dressed to go out in public! my maternity pants are too big and my regular pants are way too small. i can pull them over my hips and thighs! so i end up wearing stretchy workout pants/capris and it just makes me feel worse. i want to wear normal clothes!

do the hips ever get smaller??

Re: i have NOTHING to wear!!!

  • I'm in the same boat!  Last night I felt like I was dreaming about my skinny jeans and when I was ever going to be able to wear them again.  I have the hip problem also.  It's very annoying.  I'm hoping the hips get smaller and if not, I'd like to know NOW, so I can start buying a size bigger and I can wear normal clothes again.

  • See I'm able to wear all of my pre-pregnancy clothes, but everything fits differently now!  I feel like I have nothing to wear that looks good.

  • Yeah I'm feeling this dilemma too. BUT JC Penny's has skinny jeans that are like leggings. They are called pull up jeans. No Zipper and they are wonderful. I bought a pair and they are a little big around the waist but I always had that problem with jeans. Otherwise, I'm still 15 pounds away from pre-preg weight but I'm busting my butt!!
  • I have the same problem. I can at least button my pants now but my hips are wider so they look so unattractive. My sister told me my hips may never go back to normal. UGH. I ended up buying bigger pants but that was like 3 weeks PP and now they are too big and make my butt look saggy. I just can't win.
  • Confession - I miss the comfort of maternity pants.  If it wouldn't make me feel like a fatty I'd eliminate buttons and zippers from my wardrobe forevah!  :D

My pre pregnancy fat jeans fit.  My reg jeans technically fit but are painful.  I have been thinking the same thing!

  • I am so in the same boat. Today I actually have the Belly Band on to keep my maternity pants up! But, my pre-pregnancy pants are still way too tight, especially in the hips and butt as I am still about 15lbs from starting weight. So, maternity pants and stretchy pants it is for me until a) I lose the weight and the hips (please please please) get smaller or b) I give in and buy bigger pants.

This! I am actually skinnier now then I was pre pregnancy but everything is proportioned differently. So I feel strange and not sure if things look right LoL
