Belly button lint - part of umbilical cord

Does anyone else's LO's still have a tiny bit of the umbilical cord stuck on their belly button?

DS does. It's only visible if you're poking around his belly button. It's like a small line of goo still in there.

If so, what did you do about it (or nothing?).

    LOL yes ! I thought geez...I need to clean in here better. It was wayyy in there and I just kinda scrubed it out with a cloth.

     OK, good to know. I am a freak about belly buttons. I don't even go far in mine. When I was pregnant I found lint in there that had to have been decades old. :( DH thinks it's weird. I don't know what I think is going to happen if I dig too deep?!

    Next bath I'll do some gentle scrubbing to try to get the rest of it out.

    I hate belly buttons and get squeeged out when mine is touched even by me. I noticed this on my DS as well so I'll just have to suck it up.

    Yes, I tried to scrub it out in the bath day before yesterday and I couldn't get it without being too rough.  The dark spot is finally flaking off...glad cause I don't want to look at it anymore.

    Lauryn's still semi there as well.  I asked the pedi about it and he said it was fine.  I try to get it out but it just wont budge
