3rd Trimester

Whoops...I should have paid more attention!

Last night I sat down and actually sorted through all of the clothes that I've purchased or aquired for Jake. This is what I have just in NB and 0-3 month sizes:

Newborn Size

?         6 White Long Sleeved Onesies

?         3 ?Decorated? Long Sleeved Onesies

?         6 White Short Sleeved Onesies

?         21 ?Decorated? Short Sleeved Onesies

?         6 Sleep ?n Plays

?         3 Fleece Sleep ?n Plays

?         2 Long Sleeved Buttoned Shirts (Set)

?         1 Fleece Shirt (Set)

?         3 T-Shirts

?         1 Short Sleeved Button-Up Dress Shirt (Set)

?         1 Sweater Vest (Set)

?         2 Sleeveless Short Rompers

?         5 Pairs of Pants

?         1 Pair of Fleece Pants (Set)

?         3 Pairs of Shorts (Set)

0-3/3 Month Size

?         19 ?Decorated? Short Sleeved Onesies

?         1 ?Decorated?Long Sleeved Onesie

?         6 T-Shirts

?         7 Short Rompers

?         4 Sleep ?n Plays

?         2 Pant Overalls

?         1 Short Overalls

?         6 Pairs of Pants

?         3 Pairs of Shorts

So, clearly we are NOT in need of onesies.

Lol, as I'm sure you can understand, with a toddler around there is always laundry to do.

  • um, yeah.  you have like 56 onesies or something.  he could wear a different one every single day and still grow out of them before you get through them all.  :)  did you wash them all yet?   maybe return some of them?

I purchased some off of Craigslist, some were just given to me by friends/family memebers with boys and others were purchased on major clearance.

I actually think a majority of them came from my sister. She just had a boy in February and he was too big for all of his newborn clothes.

  • Yeah, I know it's a lot, but when I got stuff from CL and from friends/family it was just bags of clothes and onesies were always in the mix. The good thing is that he'll probably be living in onesies a majority of the time from May-August, so we'll get use out of them. Plus, if he's anything like his sister he'll spit up A LOT, requiring many changes.

It's a good thing that babies need outfit changes several times a day too then!
