BP and Cholesterol meds and conceiving

Hi ladies, I'm not sure where to post this. Do any of you have experience with conceiving while the father is on Blood pressure and cholesterol meds. They are low doses, but I am still worried. The doctors can't seem to give me a straight answer as to whether or not it's okay for the dad to be on them.

    I don't know about BP meds but for cholesterol meds it shouldn't be a problem.  I was on Lipitor and the doctor and I sat down and read the PDR and other info about Lipitor.  He made me stop taking it because the woman can't take it while pregnant or trying to get pregnant.  But nowhere in any of the information we read did it talk about the father being prohibited.
    3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
    IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again

    My sister-in-law is pregant and she conceived and is pregnant on blood pressure meds.  I know that is not your exact question, but it's all I have!  Good luck!
