Question for the mommas!

I have a friend who is newly PG- I want to get her a little something. I bought my other friend Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy, so I don't know if I want to do another book. Bella Band is out because she is so small, the small is too large. Any ideas?

    PJ's would be a fantastic gift, especially like a nightgown for when she gets bigger.  I cannot wear pajama pants anymore because they cut in and are too hot, so I love my nightgowns.

    I bought my sister The Belly Book. It is a pregnancy journal to record all doctors appts and your feelings. I am so glad I did it so I can share it with Lexi and I can use it for my next pregnancy to see what was going on week to week.

    I know she may not need it right now, but I received gift certificates to get pedicures, etc.  My DS was born in July, so it was nice to be able to have something I could use when I wanted to.  Something to feel pampered or maybe even go and do together is really nice!!  The pregnancy journal is also a great idea and something that will be cherished.

    I just thought of one more thing...My sister-in-law got a wooden figurine of a mommy-to-be and I thought it was so adorable.  I wanted one and never got it.  My husband got one with a father and a son and we really love it.  They are called Willow Tree figurines.  I know there are stores around, but you can also find them online!

    I 2nd the pregnancy journal.  I got one as a gift while PG w/ DS #1 & bought one for DS#2. 

    I DO love Belly Laughs, though.  I buy that for all my newly PG friends & buy Baby Laughs for them once baby is born.

    I third the pregnancy journal.  I received one as a gift and loved it, and it has become my standard gift.  Another idea is the book Baby Bargains- I found that book reallly helpful.
