  • Food (rate how you did 1-5): 4, continuing to do pretty good with the sweets, did have to have a drink with dinner:)
    Activity (rate how you did 1-5) 4, walk and JM...i'm not giving myself a 5 because i feel like i should be jogging instead of walking but just can't get myself to do it!
    Motivation (rate how you're feeling 1-5) 4, really enjoying tracking my points so far and love how you can plug in a recipe and it gives you the points
    Any commentary (motivation, great recipe, challenge you're having, etc.):  weighing in tomorrow so i hope it goes well!!

    Yesterday was a kinda sucky day and I wallowed in it with a big frozen yogurt (which is better than ice cream or chocolate!). Other than that, i didn't do that horribly eating - but i definitely dipped into those flex points with the yogurt.  As for activity - mine is pretty much always going to be at a 1.  Working out is totally not a priority for me right now - I work full-time, then hang out with the baby, take care of the chores, the bills, the house and go to bed.  Maybe later on when I've got a better handle on life balance i can fit working out back in - but right now, I'm not even trying.  I woke up in a horrible mood today after all that went on yesterday, so i'll have to work extra hard today not to medicate with chocolate!

  • atlantic, here's hoping your day goes better today!!!

    i fully bow down to all working moms because i am in awe!  i feel like some days i just get by and i don't work:)  with that being said, i fully support getting a cleaning service, if you can swing it.  we had one start couple of weeks ago and its been great.  we only have them clean the downstairs as that's where we spend most of our time.  its been a load off not having to stress about keeping the house clean.  my DH endorsed and when i told him i was thinking about it he was surprised i hadn't done it earlier...love him!

    Yesterday sucked hard core.  I finished the day with mozerella sticks and a sonic blast.  UGH.  Hopefully today will go better.

    I did okay on food yesterday. I resisted the cookies in the afternoon workshop. Also a lady brought it in cupcakes and I saw those things all day and didn't have any.  I plan on doing body pump during lunch on Wednesday but I had to do a presentation yesterday afternoon and didn't want to get all messy during lunch. I did walk the hour that Mia was in religion class. I've always talked about exercising the hour that Mia was in religion class instead of driving back home just to have to go back to pick her up and I finally did it yesterday. Today in weigh-in day so we'll see if I lost any weight. I'm not expecting much since I've only been tracking since Monday.

  • Food: 5  - stayed under my points again and still haven't dipped into my weekly points

    Activity: 4 - woke up yesterday at 5:30 to do a 20-minute workout by Amy Adams.  Kind of sore from it today.  I think I'm going to rest tonight since I worked out M/T/W.  I need to start making my workouts longer than 20 minutes but, for the most part, that's the only time I have with everything else I'm trying to balance.

    Motivation: 5 - I am feeling SO much better now that I've started back on the WW wagon!  I know I can do this and I really have the motivation to stay on track. 

    I am feeling so good and so much better about myself this week since I've gotten back on track.  I think for the past two years I have either used being pregnant or breastfeeding as an excuse to eat whatever I wanted and, now that I'm only breastfeeding 2x/day I realized that the lbs were starting to go up, instead of down...and that's scary since I am already overweight.  The time to do something about it is NOW especially since DH and I plan on TTC again in about a year.  I don't want to be 40-50 lbs overweight and then getting pregnant - it would not be healthy for either me or the baby.  I also really want to fit better into my pre-pg clothes.  There is a whole side of my closet that has gone untouched for about 2 years now and I miss those clothes! :)

    On a sidenote, I was at Costco last night and got DS a piece of pizza and got myself the chicken caesar salad.    I only had about 1/3 of the dressing which is good because I looked up the salad and it is 800 or so calories and 30g fat if I'd used all of the salad dressing!  Gross!  It was still 10 pts to have 1/2 the dressing and the salad which is pretty high.  It's crazy sometimes how you think you're eating something that is "healthy" and then it turns out it isn't.  Fortunately I'd been pretty careful the whole morning before or I would have gone over.

  • Food: 5, stayed under my calories again. I even ended up going to lunch with DH yesterday at a BBQ place and I had smoked turkey, corn on the cob, and steamed brocolli..and I didn't eat the roll.

    Activity: 3, I walked last night but only for about 30 mins because it started to rain

    Motivation: 4

    FAs for activity - mine is pretty much always going to be at a 1.  Working out is totally not a priority for me right now - I work full-time, then hang out with the baby, take care of the chores, the bills, the house and go to bed.  Maybe later on when I've got a better handle on life balance i can fit working out back in - but right now, I'm not even trying. 



    It took me 9 months to finally decide to start working out. Is DH home with you in the evenings?

    What I did from January-early March was to workout with the Wii right after dinner while DH played with DD, then play with DD while DH worked out.

    Starting in mid-March I started walking the neighborhood pushing DD for an hour after work.
  • colleen - i would so get a cleaning person if i didn't have our dogs.  although they could stay outside they would bark all day (and bark through the door at the cleaning person).  that's the only thing stopping me!  i've though about having someone come on the weekends, when i could let them back in the house, but that may be hard to find.

    bobcatsteph - unfortunately, my husband is not home a lot of evenings - he works a weird schedule.  I'm trying to build the balance between work and home as best i can and be as focused as possible in each area on the "big rocks" - hopefully eventually that will mean that I also fit in the workout time as a big rock, but right now it's just not a priority for me - and, maybe i shouldn't be, but I'm actually okay with that!

    it's so hard!  my husband is pretty much not ever home before 10pm - i'm lucky to see him before 8pm, lol.  it has taken me ONE YEAR to finally decide that i need to exercise, no matter if it's at 8pm or 5:30 in the morning. 

    i know how hard it is to juggle everything.  sometimes i don't know how we do it all!  

    i think tackling one thing at a time is a great idea - you're doing the best you can and that's all that matters!

  • Food:3 could have been better I snaked after I got home. I am trying to get more water into my day.

    Activity:1  I did nothing last night. I had tummy issues after dinner

    Motivation: 2 I really feel like crap because I am super stressed and when I am stressed I eat=(

    I am trying to walk/jog at least 30-60 minutes everyday

  • Food: 3 - i tracked my calories yesterday and managed to stay under them even with the jason's deli peanut butter cookie i ate at lunch. oops.

    Activity: 4 - i had an awesome workout at body pump wed. morning. i went up on my weight for several songs and it felt great

    motivation: 3 - i'm goign out of town this weekend for a bridal shower and i know i'm going to eat a ton. i've got this "i should just wait until monday and start eating healthy" mentality right now which i'm trying to kick.

    (weigh in Thursday) unfortunately i feel like those 1.6 lbs is just normal fluctuations in my weight. i keep gaining and losing the same 3 lbs. i'd like to see it be permanent!
