TTC after 35

You know what?

I kind of want to see that new movie "The Backup Plan" with Jennifer Lopez.  I don't normally like those kinds of cheesy movies, but it looks cute.  Of course it's one of those "in your face" pg movies - she gets pg on the first try.  Really?  But really, how much time do you have going through a normal ttc period?  LOL

Re: You know what?

  • That's one I'd like to see too...I too usually don't like those cheesy movies; but I do happen to like Jennifer Lopez's movies...The Wedding Planner was funny/cute...plus I got to look at Matthew McConaughey (sp?)   LOL!!

  • Eh.  Jennifer Lopez isn't my favorite.  I may add it to my netflix que, but probably won't take a trip to the theater for it.  If you go, let us know what you think.
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

  • I agree...she's not my fave by far...but I loved that movie about her crazy MIL...because I can totally relate!  I have evil, wicked, sucking you in a vortex MIL!   HAHAHAHA

  • I find it kind of ironic (probably not the right word) that she denies denies denies that she got pregnant with twins in her late late 30's using medical intervention because she 'doesn't believe in IVF' but then does a movie where she get pregnant with medical intervention.

    Man up, JLo Man up!

LOL  Why would she deny it?  That's silly.  She's not my fave either and I would never spend real money on one of her movies - Neflix is just as good.  :D

    I know!  This exactly.

I guess you could go knowing that in "real life" she didn't get KU on the first try!Wink

This, EXACTLY. Also, from everything I have read, it is pretty clear that she did use medical intervention to get pregnant.

It irritates me so much, that there is no way I will see this movie.

This and this. This movie will just further cloud fertile people's minds about IF. Spare me.
