I had my follow up u/s with the Peri after a tense week's wait. Turns out, the tangle of blood vessels that was seen over my cervix is within the placenta, not exposed and vunerable. So good news is no VP at this point, bad news is the placenta hasn't moved from my cervix and the dr. says since it hasn't moved at all at this point, it likely won't. There is a large quantity of blood vessels within the placenta, over the cervix so if I have any bleeding at all (which thankfully I have not) I still have to get to hosp pronto for monitoring but it won't be the 5min emergency that we were looking at if it were VP.
I'm on more restricted activity, but not bedrest. Just can't be on my feet for very long at all, no grocery shopping or house cleaning so I don't mind that part. They'll start steroid shots around 36 weeks to help LO's lungs mature and schedule a c/s at 37 or 38 to ensure they deliver before i start to dialate on my own.
Glad they were being cautious and I feel better that we have a plan!

Thankfully no bleeding yet, but the dr. described it as a 'timebomb' and the bigger/heavier my LO grows, the more likely. Keep on cooking little guy!
Take care of your self!!
i'm so happy it's not a vasa previa! they were concerned i had that for awhile, and it was freaking scary! not that a previa is good under any circumstances, but not having a vasa is great!!
good luck! and, if you do have any bleeding before 36w, i would recommend pushing for the steroid shots. they are sooooo helpful and i didn't have enough time to have both shots before DS was born.
I'm so glad that you don't have vasa previa!
I agree with PP. If any bleeding, push for the steroids. I had a small bleed at 30 weeks and I didn't get the shots. I had my big bleed (along with a small abruption and pPROM) at 33w4d requiring an emergency c-section.
I had a non-moving anterior partial previa from 13 weeks on.
