Pom juice

Is there a specific time in your cycle you're supposed to drink it?

Anyone ever eat an actual pomegranate?  I know what they look like, but I've never eaten one... but it's on the grocery list!

Re: Pom juice

  • No idea, but I'll pop back over here later to find out :)

I have heard that Costco sells it for cheaper than the grocery store, and that it tastes like azz, but is good if you cut it with sprite zero.

Once AF makes her grand arrival, and my betas are back at non-pregnant levels, I plan on making a Costco run for the baby-miracle-grow!

  • I started on CD 1 but you can take it all cycle- its full of folic acid. And I think the juice is better than the fruit because its more concentrated.

I can't stand the taste of it on its own... I drink it with lime flavored sparkling water!

  • Thanks for that info. I always see Pom juice being talked about but never really understood what was so good about it. It makes so much more sense now that it has folic acid in it. I am def going to Costco tonight!
  • I love pomegranates - LOVE them.  They are really not in season right now, so I'm not sure if you'll have luck finding the actual fruit.  You usually see them Nov-Dec (short season).  They are a biotch to clean to eat and if you don't like the taste of the POM juice, I wouldn't bother going for the fruit.  Pomegranate/blueberry juice is my favorite blend.

  • The fruit is yummy on frozen yogurt. I don't know about the juice, never tried it.

  • I drink pom juice often, I didn't like it at first but got used to the taste and love it. I also have pom oatmeal and pom ice pops.
