DIY craft night?

It's been eons several of us got together to make cloth books for our babies. There was once a knit night and scrap booking. Is it time to bring back another DIY day/night?

I've got more sewing machines than I care to admit to, so I'm happy to teach sewing or whatever. Kids and babies would be welcome.

Aparently my cricut can cut fabric as well!! I need to learn how to use it but it would likely make things easier. I think.

I'm on call until May 15 and taking June off -- so we've a 6 week window to plan a date (minus June 12-19 when I'll be in Mexico). Should we try for a Saturday day, or weekday afternoon, or weekday evening? I'm happy to host, assuming people are willing to come this way.
