WDYT of Gaige?

Dh loves it and it's growing on me...the only thing I am worried about is it being too popular. Do you know a lot of kids with this name? TIA!

    I have known a few all are in their 20's and up so no i have not come across a kid with this name yet. only thing i have to say is that of all of them i did know, they spelled it Gage. Gaige looks like a boy form of Paige to me. I dont think it is a horrible name, that is if it is spelled Gage IMO :)

     Most of this- I don't know anyone named Gaige/Gage.

    Gage reminds me of the little boy from "Pet Cemetary".  Not a good connection so I don't like Gage.  The spelling Gaige is really bad.

    I love Gauge not Gaige. I know one 5yr old named Gauge.

    In interior design they call a combination of gray and beige "Gaige".

    if you're talking about GAGE then it is fairly popular and i do know a few kids with that name. the spelling gaige is not cute imo and is ranked in the 700s and i seriously doubt popularity will be an issue.

    he will, however, have to spell it for people for the rest of his life because of the odd spelling so i would go with gage if you end up using that name. i don't like it personally because it reminds me of cage or gouge.

    thanks for all the input ladies...I do like the "normal" spelling Gage better....it's on our list but I am def trying to find something else to get Dh interest!

    I know 1 little boy named Gage, and I like the name, but not the spelling Gaige. I'd stick with Gage. :)

    I had a student with this name (but spelled Gage) and he was a pain in the neck.  So I have a bad association with it... but he's the only one I've ever met and he's currently in 6th grade.

    A good friend of ours named their first son Gaige (spelled the same way too). At first I'd have to say that it wasn't my favorite but knowing their son, it's very fitting and cute.
