Poison Ivy in the wrong place!

So...my SO is covered in poison ivy from cutting down a tree in the yard. Like a dummy I didn't think about it tranferring to me and we cuddled and had sexy time as usual this weekend. Well, now it's on me and in the worst place. It started out right under my butt cheeks and is now spreading to my inner thighs! I don't know what I'm gonna do if this stuff starts heading north. I don't have much experience with poison ivy, you girls got any suggestions?

    Call your Doc. They have the good creams! And they might want to just give you the shot but IDK if that ok while preg or not. Good Luck because Im sure that is not fun!

    there are tons of lotions, etc. to help with the itching, but I would really recommend calling your OB.  I need to take steroids when I get poison ivy in order for it to go away.

    Uh oh!  that's horrible! We don't have poison ivy around here, but I bet it's pretty nasty...especially on the "coslopus"

    It wouldn't hurt to call your dr and inform him/her of the situation. My DH has the WORST reaction to poison ivy and it just keeps spreading and spreading until he gets a steroid to stop it. Your dr can tell you what to do to prevent it from getting worse or if its' nothing to worry about other than some discomfort.

    Thanks girls. I guess I'll be calling the dr. Probably best since I really don't want this stuff spreading anymore than it has.
