E fell off the couch today

I set her in her boppy on the couch and I turned away for 2 seconds to rearrange myself and sit down next to her to feed her and THUD. She somehow toppled over the edge of the boppy and off the couch. She fell between the couch and a tv tray. She screamed and screamed & I cried, but she seems ok. I checked her from head to toe and no mark on her. I jiggled all of her limbs and she doesn't seem to be in pain.

I can't believe how fast it happened! I was RIGHT here, she was within arms reach of me. 

Turning in my mother of the year award.

    DS fell off a futon (close to the ground, but still...) at around the same time.  I think when I took him in for his 4m appt, they said 'oh you might be careful, they start rolling off thigns around this time'.  I didn't want to tell them...duh, I know now, thanks.

     After the same thing happened, I cried and told DH that I was a horrible mom.

    oh dear!!  i'm glad she is unscathed, but i can imagine how horrid that was as a mom!
    Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
    LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
    LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
    Life is beautiful!

    Don't beat yourself up, we all have things like that happen. I am sure it was very scary probably more for you than her. I am sure she is fine but keep a watch on her today for any abnormal behavior.
