OB Recommendations Merrimack Valley

Does anyone recommend their OB in the Merrimack Valley area? I am having trouble choosing one and would love to hear other people's experiences. TIA!

Re: OB Recommendations Merrimack Valley

  • Not sure what town you are in, but I live in Wilmington and just started going to Winchester Hospital OBGYN Associates - which is located in Woburn.  I've only met my Dr (Dr. Waters) once so far, but she seems pretty good.

  • Andover OB/Gyn.  I love all the docs there and the staff.
  • This is VERY good to know- I have my first appointment there on 4/8. Thanks ladies!

  • Where did you end up choosing? Andover or Wilmington?
  • I am going to Andover OB on Thursday. It will be my first appointment, so if I'm comfortable there then that will be awesome. If not, I think I am going to check into a place in Methuen that I found that is part of my healthcare group. Thanks for the recommendations though!

  • I hope you liked it.  If you have any questions feel free to send me a private message!
  • Just a warning about the Andover OB/Gyn, ask if they will let you go beyond 41 weeks.   I had my first daughter through them and they began to push for an induction at 38 weeks because they did not at the time allow you to go beyond 41 weeks.    I had a relatively easy time with them up until that point and ended up with an emergency c-section after an induction.   I'd go elsewhere if I were you.
