When you took your Boulevard and Marathon on the plane did the sides of the car seat prevent your DC from being able to see you? I've bought him a seat, now I'm trying to decide what to do about the carseat thing...I might take you up on both your offers!

We took our Marathon on the plane and we didn't have an issue with him not seeing us.
I have a photo somewhere, I can e-mail you if you want.

Thank you! that helps a ton. What kind of carseat is it?
We haven't had any issues. DS was less than a year the last time we traveled with him and I don't remember any problems. I have a few pictures and will email them to you.
The only bad thing I have to say about taking a carseat is the kicking. DS couldn't reach the seat last time we flew, but DD kept trying to reach the seat in front of her with her toes.
But both of my kids did well in their seats and it WAY easier to travel with them that way, IMO. And the travelmate makes hauling the seat a breeze and actually makes it easier if you have a child who likes to run, like I do.
that is a roundabout.
