Success after IF
infertile... needs a slap in the face...
and it's me! I tested yesterday 10dpiui and today 11dpiui both BFN... my head is going wild non-stop thinking and crying. My beta is tomorrow and I feel like i have lost hope but deep down i feel like i have to be pregnant! This is horrible! Any of you ladies have good advise or reassurance to give this morning?!?!? I am officially a nut case and a POAS junkie

After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I didn't test before my beta and it was at 13DPO. When it came back positive, I rushed and did a home test. The line was so light that honestly, I would not have seen it if I hadn't known I was pg.
Don't give up hope. It's possible it's a BFN but it's also possible you have a late implanter in there.

This has always been my experience. Both times I have been pregnant, it was very positive by then. Sorry, hon : ( BFNs are awful after a treatment cycle.
I got a negative at 11dipiui and a ghostly faint positive at 12dpiui. You are DEFINITELY still in the running. My RE won't even do betas before 15dpiui.

NO NO NO ... TOTALLY DISAGREE!! This is WAY early - baby may not even implant until 8 or 9 or 10 days after fertilization/IUI day. I got a stark white negative at 11dipiui and a GHOSTLY FAINT CAN HARDLY SEE IT positive at 12dpiui. Still ghostly faint at 13dpiui. Sorry to be so vehement but this is incorrect info that could really bum somebody out needlessly.

I'm glad you had a different experience but, I am willing to bet that more BFNs at 11dpIUI are in fact BFNs for that cycle. My RE agrees with that as well. By that point, you should technically have enough HCG to cause a BFP on an HPT.
Thank you for your encouragement. This made me feel A LOT better. LCB reading your post made me horrified lol, I know you were being honest about your experience and i appreciate it but it is definitely good to know that some people have had BFP's after a BFN on 11dpiui. I am refusing to give up hope until my beta says otherwise! I saw a poll on when people got their BFP and 14% said 11dpiui and 11% said 12dpiui so I guess its a pretty close running and pretty equal! Thank you ladies so much for all of your support I truly hope to be joining you very soon!
