Babies on the Brain

I have a couple of product questions!

Sleep positioner, do I need it?  I registered for a wedge at Izzy's suggestion, but now I'm wondering about this doodad.

AND- pacifier wipes?  Would they be something good to have in the diaper bag for when the nuk gets dropped and I'm not buy a sink, or are these completely silly?

Re: I have a couple of product questions!

  • I didn't use either, I've heard good and bad things about having a positioner, but mostly good for reflux.

The pacifier wipes aren't a bad idea I suppose.

  • No, and no.

You want them on their back mostly, and that's easy. Especially if they are swaddled.

I cleaned Landon's paci by sucking on it. Whatever.

  • Can't you just use regualr wipes for the pacifier?

Ditto to everything.  Except replace Landon with Henry.

  • Yeah, I was leaning towards excessive for both of them.  I guess they both sound good in theory, but there are much more practical options.

  • Sleep positioner is not worth it. Jack slept on his side from day 1, so it would have been a total waste.

Paci wipes I might use if someone bought them for me, but I just keep a spare binky in a pacifier pod in the diaper bag for those occasions when he drops it and I can't clean it.

  • We only used a sleep positioner in the cradle because if she leaned one way the cradle would lean with it. Then she went to her crib and it wasn't needed. I think it's a pointless purchase. And I've never used paci wipes, I like Ozy stick it in my mouth to clean it.

  • No and no

I have heard conflicting advice about sleep positioners. DD doesn't use one--no need.

I think paci wipes are completely silly.
