Why I love Medela

So today, DD threw my Freestyle into the floor and the tubing was attached.  The end piece broke off of the tubing and I had to call Medela to get a new one. So the tech asked for my name, address, and phone number, and said one would be here in just a couple days.  I asked her at the end how I was supposed to pay for it, and she said, "Oh, there's no charge at all.  It's a courtesy."

Do, what? FREE?  wow.  I heart Medela. :)

  • Yes, they are amazing.  My tubing was broken a couple months ago after 7 months of EPing and they send me new tubing and flanges, no questions asked.  SOOO awesome!
  • Thank you for posting this. I have heard great things about their customer service but never experienced it. I have been having issues with the plastic part in the tubing getting stuck in my flanges. I never thought to call them! I just did and they are sending me replacement parts. No questions asked. Why doesnt everyone have customer service like theirs??
  • My AC adapter just stopped working (had to use the battery pack) and I called Medela customer service.  They just mailed me a brand new AC adapter, no questions asked, free of charge, free shipping!!!  They are fabulous!

  • What are flanges?  I should get another tubing thing too!
