Gas and mylicon drops

How often do you give the drops? My LO has had gas for days which has kept him up at night. Not sure if they are helping.

    Have you tried gripe water? I think it works better than gas drops.

    Give it before feeding and it might work better.  We only use it when DD seems gassy; she's not normally gassy.

    Try giving it every feeding.  Our pedi told me that Mylicon isn't systemic (doesn't enter the blood stream).  Instead it reacts directly with the milk.  So, if it doesn't go in with the milk, it won't work.

    We HAVE to give it to our boy at every feeding or we pay for it with bad gas that is painful for him.  Mylicon makes it manageable!
