Pregnant after a Loss

Tell me your LO's HR at 12 weeks :-)

My MIL swears that this LO is a girl because the heartrate was in the 160s for my appointment last week at 11 weeks and again today at the NT scan.  With DS, his HR was never over 145 the entire time I was pregnant.  I know it's an old wive's tale but I thought it may be fun to ask you ladies.  If you know what you're having, what was your LO's HR at 12 weeks...and if it's a boy or girl :-)

  • HR was 157(ish) at the NT scan (12w1d) and she is indeed a girl. Smile

  • Mine was 156, but have no idea of the sex yet...
  • Every time we check the HR its around 140's never above 150's

Even the doppler that we use at home always says 130's or 140's

And at our NT scan the tech said "pretty sure thats a boy" so we find out for sure this friday

  • My LO's hr was in the 150's every time I checked it with my Doppler and also at my NT scan, I was really thinking it was a sign we were having a girl. But it's been confirmed 3 times that we're having a boy. I have to say that since about 20 weeks his hr has dropped down into the 120-130's.

  • My first 2 u/s were in the 180's.  At my 14w appt. last week, it was 165 and we're having a boy.  Both the high heartrate and Chinese calendar pointed towards girl...good thing I don't believe in the OWT :)

  • Baby girl's HB has always been 145 bpm and above. We didn't have an NT scan, but did need an emergency U/S, and it was over 150.
  • HB was 156 and its a boy :-)
