PAMOM
I'm going to my first PAMOM meeting tonight as an expectant mom! Anyone have any "suggestions" or anything you feel like sharing before I go in tonight? I'm not really sure what to expect, this is all very new to me. Maybe I'll see some of you there!

Let's see here - Expectant mom meeting will be first from 6:15ish to 7:00. Not sure what the topic will be this month as I don't pay attention to that anymore.
After that, dinner is served from 7 to about 7:30. It's potluck tonight so hopefully there will be some great food!
7:30 they start announcements. This will also be a time when all the first timers will be announced.
8:00 is when the guest speaker starts and they talk until around 9.
You don't have to stay for the whole thing if you don't want to. Some people just go for the forums at 6:15 and then leave.
Personally, I love going to the meetings. I don't know that many people yet, but I signed up to be on the Board next year so hopefully that will change. I love the educational aspect of the meeting. I am kinda geeky like that though. Great group of women.
Here is the info I got:
April?s meal is a potluck dinner with a twist! We will have a contest for the best appetizer (including salads), main dish, side dish and dessert recipe! Everyone will get 3 votes one for each category. The one with the most votes wins. In the case of a tie, the winning dishes will be placed into a hat and drawn randomly. There are a lot of DELICIOUS recipes from the PAMOM cookbook so if you submitted a recipe to the cookbook, we would love to have you bring it for the potluck! Make sure to let us know if it is from the cookbook so we can put a special note to let everyone know what page it is on.
My thought is since it's your first time, I wouldn't worry about it!!
