  1.Where do you buy your educational toys for infants/toddlers We don't have anywhere specific. Just when we are out and we see something that DD might enjoy we buy it. At this age everything is an educational toy though.
  

  2. What fun outdoor activities do you do with DD that require a minimum of equipment? This was my question, right now we play with bubbles, dig in the dirt and toss balls around, that's pretty much it. I'm looking for fun things to do in the back yard while I'm home with DD this summer.
  

  3.Any recommendations for fun cds to play in the car that are geared toward toddlers? DD has been requesting my Hanson CDs lately. There is very little that is offensive on them and, especially Middle of Nowhere, they're pretty upbeat.
  

  4.We were told to make the 1 year pedi appointment after the baby's 1st birthday, how long after your LO's b-day did you go to your 1 year appointment? a couple of days I think
  

  5. Fun themes for a baby shower where the sex of the baby is unknown?  Pics are a plus!! sorry, I've got nothing
  

  6.What's your kid's favorite toy right now? What toy was the biggest dissapointment? her Calico Critters baby cats, she could play with those all day.
  

  7.highs / lows this week High: Turning in my resignation on Friday and the end of Tax season. Low: Surviving until tax day

  1.Where do you buy your educational toys for infants/toddlers I usually get recs from people here or magazines, and I'll take a look at Amazon to see reviews and see how much. Sometimes I like to get a hand made version on Etsy if it's available. Right now I'm looking for one of those books that you can put pictures of family in.

  2. What fun outdoor activities do you do with DD that require a minimum of equipment? At 14 months, just about anything works for E - we took her to a children's museum up in Bellingham and she had a great time. I know parks are good, but I love the plant farm - or the plant section of a store like Fred Meyers. I think it depends on if the kiddo is walking because right now I have to worry about where she puts her hands when she crawls.

  4.We were told to make the 1 year pedi appointment after the baby's 1st birthday, how long after your LO's b-day did you go to your 1 year appointment? We made ours for the day after but that's because I'm anal about her baby book, and I wanted the weight and height to be as close to the actual day as possible. I think before a month is pretty good though.

  5. Fun themes for a baby shower where the sex of the baby is unknown?  Pics are a plus!! Oh geez, you love me! I will have something for you soon (and I'm assuming a no gender reveal party?)

  6.What's your kid's favorite toy right now? What toy was the biggest dissapointment? She loves her little wooden rocking horse she got on Saturday, but she also loves the swings. Biggest disappointment was the air popper with the balls. It's obnoxiously loud and they go everywhere.

  7.highs / lows this week Highs - helping people always makes me feel better, and I had an awesome time at the Mom Prom. Lows - having grandparents who don't understand that E doesn't like them to be in her face. It was a bad weekend for that.

  8. Questions for next week? What do you do for a shy kid when it comes to family?

We haven't done much outdoor activity yet.3.Any recommendations for fun cds to play in the car that are geared toward toddlers? We have the Backyardigans and the Wiggles and my kids LOVE them. My H and I are constantly signing the songs and it is driving us crazy!4.We were told to make the 1 year pedi appointment after the baby's 1st birthday, how long after your LO's b-day did you go to your 1 year appointment? We went the week following their birthday.5. Fun themes for a baby shower where the sex of the baby is unknown?  Pics are a plus!! Hmmm......Not really a theme but I love that cake idea, where the color pink or blue is inside the cake.6.What's your kid's favorite toy right now? What toy was the biggest dissapointment? Ball pit, cars, balls, Laugh and Learn house. I can't really think of any disappointing toys....they like pretty much everything they have.7.highs / lows this week  Lows: The past week has been the hardest since my boys were born. They are teething and have also started testing their boundaries. Crying seems to be happening constantly.....It has been SO difficult. / High: Looking forward to the weekend.8.   1.Where do you buy your educational toys for infants/toddlers? Toys that Teach in the Bothell country village. That is a cool store. There is also Top Ten Toys.2. What fun outdoor activities do you do with DD that require a minimum of equipment? Playground, beach when it is warmer, Logan has been helping me garden. I usually go to Target this time of year and buy a whole bunch of bubbles, balls, chalk, etc and put them in a big bin in the shed. We pull them out and play in the back yard. 3.Any recommendations for fun cds to play in the car that are geared toward toddlers?https://www.putumayo.com/  We have 3 of their kids CD's and my kids LOVE them. There is the Bananaphone song which Liam LOVES and a version of You are my Sunshine which makes me cry because my kids sing at the top of their lungs in the car to it. It was right around that time. It is kind of important to be within a few weeks because they chart growth patterns and do vaccines and check milestones.5.   1.Where do you buy your educational toys for infants/toddlers Amazon mostly after I look through Top Ten Toys.

  2. What fun outdoor activities do you do with DD that require a minimum of equipment? Chalk, we also take walks and pick up rocks and put them in a bucket.  In the summer we do this with dandilions or leaves too.  I made a little obsticle course for him outside this weekend using chairs, pillows, and random house hold objects. We also take toys outside and just play on the deck. 

  3.Any recommendations for fun cds to play in the car that are geared toward toddlers? Barenaked ladies snack time and They Might be Giants

  4.We were told to make the 1 year pedi appointment after the baby's 1st birthday, how long after your LO's b-day did you go to your 1 year appointment? it was pretty close to 14 or 15 months.  We had just moved and had to find a new doc. 

  5. Fun themes for a baby shower where the sex of the baby is unknown?  Pics are a plus!! Doctor Suese, a book shower,

  6.What's your kid's favorite toy right now? What toy was the biggest dissapointment? Magneatos, and his sand box are his 2 current favs.  We bought him a toy sink for christmas and he only wants to play with it when other kids do.

  1.Where do you buy your educational toys for infants/toddlers? We just purchase all toys from either TRU or White Horse Toys in Issaquah.

  2. What fun outdoor activities do you do with DD that require a minimum of equipment? With DS, we do dancing, singing, finger play, make music with all of his instruments, let him crawl up and down the stairs (with supervision), etc. 

  3.Any recommendations for fun cds to play in the car that are geared toward toddlers? What kind of music do you like? Chris Ballew (former lead singer of the Presidents) has a band called Casper Babypants. The songs are terrific. Max loves them, and he sings and dances to them constantly. That is my families favorite kid artist.

  6.What's your kid's favorite toy right now? What toy was the biggest dissapointment? We don't have very many disappointing toys. He cycles through them. What is a dud today may be his favorite toy tomorrow. He got a really cool gear/musical toy for his birthday. That is his favorite thing right now.

  7.highs / lows this week? Max's party was a total high. I actually felt a little bit of a let down afterwards.

  Lows are the continued accident saga. We go the hospital bill today. It exceeds our PIP coverage. I hope our health insurance covers the rest. This doesn't even include the amublance bill. BLARG!
