Dear people of San Diego...

Stop dumping your furniture on the interstate!!!!  Three times this week I've nearly been in an accident trying to avoid furniture in the middle of the interstate.  One sofa, one recliner-type chair and today it was a dining chair.  Twice (including today) Zachary was in the car with me.  I am seriously still shaking from today -- I was really lucky that we didn't crash.  Sheesh people!

    that sucks...I'm not from San Diego, but in New Orleans, people move/pack their trucks like Sanford and Son and we get stuff on the streets all the time.

    that sucks!! i hope that doesnt happen again to you or anyone..  i actually seen how a washer (or i think it was a stove) fell from the back of a truck in the interstate.. pretty scary.. good thing there wasnt anyone close behind them.. (we were already pass them)

    I live in SD- was driving with DD in the truck- exiting from the 5 freeway- where the bike lane ENDS and they must exit too.... this dumb$hit doesn't exit- I slam my breaks and the car to the left of me has to swerve so she didn't hit him...

    Seriously, why would you cut off cars exiting the freeway on your bike? Not a motorcycle, a freakin bike!!!!

    Good thing DD is soo young, because I was cursing him to high hell.

    Do Jeff and Jer still do the daily update of all of the furniture that is on the freeway? I remember them doing that when I lived down there. My fave was the naked guy dancing on a couch under a freeway interchange.

    i just moved from SD! Here (Salt 
    Lake City) they have all these really sad PSA's and billboards about tieing(sp?) your shit down! I thought it was all those mexis loading matresses and couches on a 89 datson truck going to TJ. (i can say that I am a mexi) but it seems universal!

    I know that exit PP, I used to drive from NoCounty to San Clemete and they let bikes on the 5 thru there. lame, peole drive no less than 85 on that stretch.
