Sign of coming labor? Maybe TMI

I have had the worst diarrhea the past two days...could this be a sign of upcoming labor?

    It may or may not be, unfortunately.  It could be any number of things.  That being said if it's been really bad my doctor suggested that I call him if something similar were to happen to avoid getting dehydrated which could lead to contractions.

    I have had diarrhea since last saturday (yes, that's 9 days), and I am still pregnant :)  I agree with PP, it CAN be a sign, but isn't necessarily.  You need more than one symptom in my book.

    I have had diarrhea for 2.5 weeks. haha. I was wishing that it was a sign but I have since resigned myself...like all PPs have said, it could be, but it could not be...
