This whole "kids art" thing is confusing to me. The walls are light purple, the furniture is all white (the doors and trim too), then I have black accents and bedding. I bought 2 black 8x10 picture frames to put on the wall, but I have absolutely no idea what to put in them? Help!
Re: What to put in photo frames for DD big girl room?
Of what? Her? A B&W image of Elmo?
Just my thought haha!
Maybe start a tradition of putting pics of her on her bday in frames in her room? I dk if that will start some sort of shrine of herself. Or maybe do one of the family on each birthday. You, DH and DD on her first bday and so on.
Or get a disposable camera and let her take pictures for a week or whatev and get it developed and let her pick out what pictures to put in it (granted it is decent).
Depends what look you are going for, but you could find some cool fabric or wrapping paper with the colors you want and frame that.
In DD's room we have two antique gold frames (they were my great grandmothers). Gold frames really aren't my style, but we found some cute prints of a fish and one of an octopus and hung those in the frames. Ended up looking better than I expected.
They have some adorable art on Etsy. Maybe birds or little girls matted in white.
I have some red frames with paper dolls that I got off etsy that I love. Do you have any type of theme you could go with?
