What did you do with all your cards, balloons etc.

I really don't want to throw them out and at the same time, I am not sure what to do with them.  Does anyone have a good suggestion? Put them in a book/box? Just write down who sent cards to remember?

(I probably should have done this awhile ago but I am in the middle of spring cleaning and don't know what to do with the bag filled with cards!)

    I put her cards in a decorative box and stored it in her closet.  I didn't want to throw them away, I still have all of mine that my mom saved.  I saved one mylar balloon and folded it up and put it in the box also.

    I went through the cards and just saved a few and taped them into LO's baby book (back pages & inside the back cover).  I saved the ones that people actually took the time to write something special.  If it was a card that was just signed or from someone I don't know well (co-worker, MIL's friend, etc), it got thrown away.  I threw out the balloons.

    DH made me throw them out, he said it was too much clutter, I still have a few but I think we got well over 100 cards.  We have a big family

    I threw them all away!

    My MIL saved EVERY card, balloon, newspaper clipping, toy etc etc of DH's from when he was little. We had so much CRAP to sort through when we got married & she gave it all to us. It is amazing how fast it will pile up if you save it all!!! DH and I looked through the cards & there might have been 5-6 that were sentimental... the rest just had people sign their names etc. No need to save those IMO!

    Also, when ppl give us clothes, toys etc (especially holiday stuff) if we don't use it I return it or just send it to goodwill. Out with the junk!!! Like for easter, DS got 6, yes SIX, stuffed rabbits! I gave them all away!

    My mom saved all that stuff, too.  At least you went through it.  I just threw away the boxes of stuff and never even looked at it.

    Mine are in a box. I still have small ones from when DS1 was born over 3 1/2 yrs ago that are completely inflated. I cant wait to see how long they last
