tummy sleeping

I have just discovered how well my baby sleeps on his tummy. He doesn't wake himself up constantly and can nap pretty solid for several hours like this. I am too scared to put him to bed like this at night though. During the day I can keep a close eye on him but I am afraid at night I can't. I do swaddle him at night on his back and even stick him on his side to sleep but he doesn't sleep as well. Anyone else putting there little ones to sleep on their tummy's at night? If so how did you get over the fear of doing this?

Yep since 6 weeks, thats when she started STTN. I got an angelcare monitor for some peace of mind.

no i dont swaddle. DD was never much a fan. she kinda self-swaddles because she tucks her knees to her chest and tucks her arms under her neck/chest so she's sleeping with her little bum in the air, curled into a ball haha.

DD has been sleeping on her stomach since she was a week old. The only thing in her crib was the sheet she was sleeping on, and she wasnt wiggling to the bumper. She would NOT sleep any other way, and she never has. If you lay her on her back she can NOT sleep. I just check on her constantly, and I've even tried putting something in her face, and she has ALWAYS turned her head to the other side to get away from it. We slept on our stomachs when we were babies...I get mad at statistics sometimes.

My baby only sleeps on her tummy. She doesn't sleep very long on her back.
